Morgan Dealerships in the UK have taken delivery of their first examples of the all-new Plus Six.

The cars were handed over at Thrill On The Hill, Morgan’s annual festival, which took place at Prescott Speed Hill Climb in Gloucestershire, UK, on Sunday 11 August. This year, the event celebrated our 110th anniversary and attracted over a thousand visitors. As well as taking their cars up the famous course, guests experienced passenger rides in our current range of cars, including the Plus Six.

All 11 Plus Six models delivered will be used as demonstrator vehicles, and the company would like to invite anybody interested in experiencing the car to contact their nearest Dealership. More than 150 Plus Six orders have now been placed, with customer deliveries expected to begin during the fourth quarter of 2019.

The Plus Six is an all-new car that celebrates Morgan’s distinctive design. It features a BMW three-litre inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine and is the first model to be built on the company’s new CX-Generation aluminium platform. Fewer than 1% of its parts are shared with other Morgan models.

Prices for the Plus Six start at £77,995 inc. VAT in the UK. The first 50 cars to be built will all be First Editions in ‘Emerald’ or ‘Moonstone’. Priced at £89,995, these models are fixed specifications and include a lightweight composite hard-top roof.

Steve Morris, CEO of Morgan Motor Company, said, “We are delighted to witness the first Plus Six models being handed over to our UK Dealership network here at Thrill On The Hill 2019.

“The sight of all 11 Plus Six First Editions is one to behold, and this handover marks the culmination of years of hard work from our small team based in Malvern Link. We look forward to a bright future for this fantastic new Morgan.”
