Morgan Driving Tours

Morgan Driving Tours give you the chance to experience some of Britain’s best roads and most spectacular scenery from behind the wheel of either the iconic Morgan Plus Four or the all-new Morgan Super 3.

Our current tour, which includes Malvern, Wales and the Cotswolds, has been meticulously planned to take you through the most incredible regions England and Wales have to offer, on roads perfectly suited to the Morgan driving experience.

You will start your experience with a VIP tour of the Morgan factory, where you will also collect your vehicle from the Morgan Experience Centre. You’ll stay at some of the finest boutique hotels, and eat at outstanding restaurants and pubs along the way.

Whether you’re coming from abroad or within the UK, all you need to do is arrive – we take care of everything else. At your first night’s hotel, you’ll receive a detailed ‘roadbook’ with all the information you need, and routes for every leg of the tour which can be followed turn-by-turn on your mobile device.

On the afternoon of departure we’ll be there to talk you through everything you need to know – such as the operation of the vehicle features – and answer all of your questions. Your Morgan Plus Four or Super 3 will be waiting for you, fully prepared, fuelled and ready to take to the road.

The Morgan Plus Four

The all-new Morgan Plus Four has been chosen specially for Morgan Driving Tours. It’s the consummate all-rounder and, as Morgan’s most popular model, represents the epitome of the brand.

Launched in March 2020, the all-new Plus Four continues the lineage of its predecessor, the Plus 4, which was first made in 1950. The distinctive styling remains and, like every Morgan car before, it’s hand crafted using our core materials of ash wood, aluminium and leather.

But under the timeless bodywork is the all-new bonded aluminium CX-Generation platform, offering superb strength while maintaining the model’s famous light weight. This makes it more refined for long-distance touring, and retains the direct handling that has always been a feature of the car.

The improved packaging provides more passenger and luggage space, while ingress and egress is easier than ever before, and a higher level of equipment is included as standard.

Super 3

The all-new Morgan Super 3 will be available for driving tours from April 2023.

The Morgan Super 3 is one of the most exciting new cars produced anywhere in the world. Continuing a 113 year legacy of three-wheeled Morgan models, Super 3 has been designed from the ground up to offer new levels of character, thrill and adventure.

At the heart of Super 3’s personality is its analogue driving character, making it the perfect partner for a driving tour along some of Britain’s best roads – every journey in Super 3 is an adventure.

With adjustable pedals, reach & rake steering adjustment, heated seats, USB sockets, a host of luggage options and a conventional manual gearbox, Super 3 is as easy to drive as any modern vehicle.

Head by car directly to Malvern and the foot of its eponymous hills, where you’ll find the Morgan factory, arriving at 2pm. Once at the all-new Morgan Experience Centre, you will be met and welcomed with coffee, and your roadbook – which details all the information you’ll need for the trip – will be shared with you.

Next, it’s time to enjoy your private guided tour of the factory, where you will experience a first-hand introduction to the making of the Morgan cars – the tour itself takes around an hour, depending on the number of questions you might have….

After the tour is over, enjoy a coffee at the Morgan Experience Centre, before being shown around your Morgan. Head back to your nearby hotel for the evening.

The following morning you will be on your way! Departing the Herefordshire town of Ledbury, you’ll head north into Shropshire and to the picturesque market town of Ludlow for coffee. From here you’ll cross the border into Wales, heading towards the Snowdonia National Park and mountain region on some of the region’s finest roads. It includes what many have named best driving road in Wales, the B4391, taking you on to your lunch stop at Palé Hall.

These are roads famously driven by the likes of Top Gear and car magazines when testing cars – the road surfaces are some of the most exemplary in the UK and the light traffic makes them a delight to drive.

From Palé Hall you’ll head to Portmeirion, an enchanting Italianate style village on the coast of North Wales, for a late afternoon drink and dinner, ahead of your stay here.

From Portmeirion you’ll head over the mountains again, and eventually back into England and to the historic town of Shrewsbury, where you’ll have lunch overlooking the town before having some time to explore its winding streets.

Next, you’ll wend your way into the Cotswolds, to your destination of the chocolate box village of Broadway, where your hotel for the night is situated.

Your final drive will be a leisurely cruise through one of the most beautiful regions of England, the Cotswolds. This journey will take you southwards along the entire length of the region and showcase all that is quintessentially English in this bucolic part of the country.

The drive starts by taking you out from Broadway to Stow-on-the-Wold, into Bourton-on-the-Water, Cirencester and Tetbury – you can park up and stroll around each of these picture-postcard places. From Tetbury, head back north, via Gloucester, to the Morgan factory in Malvern, to drop your car back off, and then on to your final hotel.

Spend a final morning at your hotel, before continuing your onwards journey plans
